Continuing to gingervate.

Hold it now.

Ginger's nice, but I still prefer to open up a nice bottle of vintage Beltran, and simply enjoy without reservation.

Shouldn't David be, like, lying down in a tub of warm gel or something?

Johnson's forearm may have saved a run there.

Do you try to steal a run with the double steal here?

By "this fucker," did you mean "front foot, as you flail at the most predictable 1-2 pitch ever?"

That wasted chance may sting.

I guess I did mean that. Boy, is my face red (though that could be from the gin).

Crud. This Mike Stanton guy can jack a ball.

I've caught a few of his home runs on the highlights this season, and most of them have looked effortless like that. He's terrifying.

Friggin Bay. I wanna kill him.

I think Gary just obliquely suggested that most "kids who text" are stoners.

Please tell me Byrdak's in for Morrisson and Morrisson alone.

I thought that myself. Sad, huh?

The less we see of Mike Dunn, the better.

The celebrated infield combo of Harris to Turner to Murphy almost turned a nice two there. At least we got the lead runner.

Izzy kinda looks perpetually hungover these days, doesn't he?

Izzy strikes me as more overanxious than hung over. He's been rushing his fastballs and falling behind a few too many batters, but he got the outs tonight.

Through no fault of the pitch calling.

Seriously... let's throw curves on the plate to the guy who just effortlessly smacked a slider into the black.

I didn't realize Dunn was a Yankee last year. That almost makes me feel better.

At least Murphy made contact.

Dunn was a Yankee prospect in 2009. He was traded to the Braves in the Javier Vazquez deal (snicker), and then traded to Florida with Infante for Uggla (he's the only one of three who's doing anything).

K-Rod only took one pitch to get my ulcers going.

Are we really walking Coghlan to pitch to Hanley?

Holy shit, what?

Yeah, I mean, it could work but also maybe not. If we got beat by Coughlan nobody'd say anything, right?

Well, yeah, I may get on base if I close my eyes and swing one handed. Doesn't mean it's necessarily smart.

Not what I'd have done, but I'll take the result. Now let's win this.
