Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Byrdak's frigging worthless. Howie had it nailed in the previous inning when Terry correctly decided to stay with Young (or even Beato) to get Schnieder, since bringing in Byrdak there would only result in a worse matchup vs. Mayberry. The only thinbg he's worth doing is hanging around for Howard, but can't get it done.Let's move on to Plan B here, Sandy.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 I may bail here when the statement starts.Very disappointed that Wowie and Hayne haven't announced this. Folks yelling U-S-A in the crowd.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Story is that he's dead and we have his body.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 This is a strange fifteen minutes.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 I'd like a $66 million hit here from Bay.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 I don't know whether to wake my wife. I never dreamed I spend this moment with Wayne Hagin.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 No hit; just a very pricey out.OE: Woke up mine to tell her.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Randy Wolf's brother is a pretty crappy HP ump tonight, IMO.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Last 18 half-innings for NYM bats: 16 hits, 6 walks, 2 runs
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Can these guys get any more piece of shit hits!?!?!?Aside from Schneider's hard double early it's been Howard's check swing, Schneider's 7 hopper up the middle, Victorino's infield chopper, and Polanco's bloop.

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Yeah, I dunno who. I don't tank Thinkersley is buring it up so maybe O'Connor. Who's loogying for Bingoton?Things Wayne Hagin left me baffled about during my run tonight:* Paulino's infield single* Reyes' infield single* The strike appeal on SchneiderThe first two he never finished describing the defensive play. He made a decent recovery on the appeal play but it was only because that happened he ever got it out -- he was spiraling into one of those verbal diarreah spasms and the call snapped him out of it.

nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 If you're still watching the game, Obama is on now.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 So we've got just Thole left plus Buchholz and some combo if Gee/CapuanoNot sure who they've got as far as bench and they were short on pitchers before this game started.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Obama produces Bin Laden's severed head! Nice touch.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Figured I was forgetting someone: re: IgarashiThe Phils still have Herndon in the pen, he was the guy that served up the HRs in the 9th the other day (albeit meaningless ones). They probably figure to go with Kendrick for a while. And the Phils have Ross Gload.
