Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 No, I don't think Terry is in any immediate danger. But I remember last year, every time* we revived the Jerry Manual deathwatch, the Mets would go on an eight-game winning streak. Just trying to capture some of that "mojo". * Well, really, twice.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 Pedro Lopez's St. Lucie Mets are 11-2 and four games up on their nearest Florida State League rival. Not sayin', just sayin'.Pedro Lopez, ladies and gents:
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 Daniel Murphy has been the target of Terry Collins' deathstare.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 Listening to TC lose patience with Fran-say-so on his weekly spot. I get the feeling if Collins was the '86 Mets manager and they were down 0-2, he'd have scheduled three practices on the off day at Fenway. We should only get to down 0-2 in a World Series under Terry Collins.

Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2011 Author Posted April 28, 2011 The Mets lost the evening I started this thread, but then reeled off six in a row.If they win their next two, I'm going to declare this thread an official success. "Mission Accomplished" banners and all.And even if the streak should stop at six, I'm so proud of myself I feel like Donald Trump!

Let him show his records.
