Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 Aaaaaaand there goes the shutout. Still, Timmeh will get a no-prize before Metsie does, methinks.Philly-Brewskies on to the 11th.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 Leadoff walk + Carlos Gomez bunt + throwing error by Kyle Kendrick + Ryan Braun now up = Brewers should be taking a lead very soon in the top of the 12th.

Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 Cincinnati lost to Pittsburgh, 9-3. The more surprising news came before the game as it was revealed that pitcher Mike Leake was arrested for shoplifting $60 worth of merchandise from a Macy's in downtown Cincinnati.

metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 It's a cry for help , send him to Dr. Drew, he'll diagnose him during the opening credits.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 He's probably trying to get noticed by Lindsay Lohan.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Got millions as a first round draft pick and makes $425K a year. Took the trouble to remove security tags from t-shirts retailing for ~$12 apiece. On a related note, I once took a biztrip to Cincinnati and forgot to pack undies, and subsequently hit up that Macy's. Luckily I didn't forget my wallet.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 The odd part to me is that he did it in his home city , rather than on the road. (I'm not sure why that should matter, but he's certainly more recognizeable at home --- as a second-year player, it's probably the only place he'd be recornized.) Also, that it's tee shirts. Don't ball players get an endless supply of tee-shirts from the club?

Different time and all, but keep in mind-- Timmeh's just beginning his fifth season as a Giant.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 and there's thisWhen Leake was booked into the jail following his arrest at Macys at 2 p.m. Monday, deputies processing him found $250 in cash on him. Leake also had two Visa cards and a MasterCard with him according to paperwork issued by the Hamilton County Sheriffs Office.he'll be in rehab within the week I think
