Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Harris ripped it down the first base line, and Giambi knocked it down enough to play the ricochet and get the out. Hairston hit an absolute jam-job dying quail, and it's a roster-spot saver. Go figure.

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Missed that last inning, can someone fill me in on the deets? (I mean, I see where Dickey is walking way too many guys)
smg58 Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 The whole damn staff is walking too many guys, and I just don't know why.
Guest The Second Spitter Guests Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Muffy muffed a DP. FUSH muffed a fly ball.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Wayne Hagin calling that Pagan DP made me turn off the radio. What the hell
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Tulowitzski leans in and makes the throw, which ... (long pause) ... is Final (what?) ... go 6-6-3.(click)

bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2011 Author Posted April 14, 2011 He blanked out on Tulowitzki's name? It's on his back and also on multiple pieces of paper on the desk and it's the 3d game of the series and he's a big star.

TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 The outfield defense concerns me. More so than in 2009.
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 WTF is going on out there?
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 I wonder if the Mets will win again this season?I had hoped to get to a game before all hope was gone, but I may already be too late.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2011 Author Posted April 14, 2011 The '62 Mets probably played better OF D than the Mets today.Doesn't it seem like the Mets have a lead in every game? It's like the other team spots the Mets a few runs to make it interesting.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 1-5 on the opening homestand, this is armageddon for walkup tixx sales.

And the next homestand is also Easter week and still April and crappy teams. They have plenty of tiem bfore the SF/LA homestand in May to become a team worth watching.
