They tried to do the first pitch thing last thursday, but the person that won wasn't actually _in_ their seat, so they couldn't find him in time to do it. They've done some other subtle stuff too, like having the '86 Met that's in the building come out and hand out the inbetween inning contest prize in person.

I doubt the 'hey, bring all your kiddies free' stuff will. supply and demand and all.
