Just bought tickets to Mets @ Red Sox for St Patrick's Day. Of course, i was only able to get standing room tickets since they seem to have sold out in a half hour.

Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 I hadn't planned on going this year but here I find myself (again) with seats to the game at the House of Evil on Friday night. I guess I started looking for tickets almost out of habit.I have this theory that if attending one of these games it's actually a more pleasant experience to do so when the Mets are the visiting team, if only because our stadium seems to draw more morons and yahoos to these particular games. There's also that extra satisfaction when the Mets win there. (Plus a good steak sandwich even if they don't).
Guest The Second Spitter Guests Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 Like I instinctively looked up flights to LA for July. One of two things will happen: (1) They'll move into contention on the back of a hot streak, I'll book my trip and then immediately tank around the ASG; or (2) I'll book a flight to Europe and they'll make the playoffs.
