Absolute tripe but it had the kid rolling around with laughter , and me and the misses too because of a combination of the movie and Lorcan..

How bad was this ...five stars being really bad

I think this sub-forum is at it's best reviewing afterthought films like this, a few years old and prematurely forgotten.

I have a rule of thumb of avoiding movies with Alan Cumming in the cast as his main dramatic skill is making funny faces.

Exception to the rule is Sweet Land, which is a pretty, simple movie in which he plays a supporting role.

It's the baby and the dog that steal this movie....I went to Best Buy last night to buy it and they didn't have it......

A few questions

This was a sequel to the Jim Carrey movie?

Did he think he was too big a star to do this one?

I'm pretty sure that Jim Carrey's life is still pretty good.

He is, as of very recently, a grandfather.
He's 48, his daughter (his only child from what I can tell) 23.

This was viewed again last night and Lorcan reports that it's even better the second time around. He's probably wondering why his dad can't do all that crazy stuff.

My first thought on this thread was: 'Wait a minute, Cher's son in 'Mask' died before he ever had any kids so how can there be 'Son of Mask' ?!!?'

Shocking that I am the only voter so far in this.....

I wonder how Adam Rubin would vote.

Or Marty Noble.

Watched this again this evening, I am telling you all with young kids to get this.

We watched "The Land Before Time" tonight. Is there a thread for that one yet.

Probably not but start one......we saw it not long ago...loved it.....nothing beats the kid getting so excited at telling you things about dinosaurs that you need to pause the movie....Sullivan Bluth Studios out of Ireland.....they were great , not sure if they are still around.

"Hunchback of Notre Dame" for us today (the animated Dizney version). The 'Pail hated it until the sheep butted the bad guy in the butt, then he loved it.
