Unless Castillo had the runs, there is no excuse. What's the difference if it was to pinch run or pinch hit? The Mets pay him to play baseball and he wasn't ready. F Castillo.

The difference is that I thought I'd clarify what actually happened.

There's no excuse and nobody's making one. But it's worthwhile not to get carried away. It happens in the course of a long season.
