G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 If they didn't hate America, why would they be trying to beat a team representing the city where the Declaration of Independence and Constitution were drawn up? At least that's what Jeff Wilpon whispered to Dave Lennon. We're assuming they'll be trying to beat them: Mejia versus Halladay. First Labor Day, then Rosh Hashanah...sure are a lot of Halladays this week.I hope it's not mandatory that Ollie and Luis show up for this team event either.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 Pastor Terry Jones will be throwing out the first pitch at hate filled Citi Field .
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2010 Author Posted September 10, 2010 And if the Mets didn't hate America, why did they cancel sunglasses day? Clearly they knew fans would need the shades to cut down on the glare from all the Koran-burning good Americans like Jimmy Rollins, Shane Victorino and Jayson Werth will be doing.
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 I prefer to pronounce his name Shane Victory? No.

bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 Geez, the Mets gotta lead the league in being called out a strikes. Are they too passive or do they have a problem with pitch recognition?

Guest Kong76 Guests Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 I meant to post this earlier ... that Mejia belly flopperearlier was funny, classic, and down right scary all at the same time.

Guest Kong76 Guests Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 Ed Hearn's steak throwing fight story was also amusing. Keith claimednot remembering, I think Ron mumbled he hoped he wasn't calledto testify.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 Ron did. he has spoken before on air how some things that got out in 1986 embarrased his family.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 A really craptacular performance by Meija there. The 3-2 single to Valdez was just an absolute killer, particularly after his teammates scored him 3 runs just the half-inning prior. Great company for the later innings as Second Spitter and Luncbucket joined the Gwreck party in some nice seats the Mets gave us for free...
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 i'd add more but my cat is licking my arm. weird.
