Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 I think the Mets misunderstood Keith and are aiming to be swept this series....
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 This team is pathetic. I can't remember when I have been as indifferent to the Mets as I have become in the past two weeks. I find this team boring to watch unless R.A. Dickey is pitching. Their play is uninspired, so I now often choose not to watch them when I have the opportunity to do so. It's not the losing, Lord knows I'm accustomed to that as a Mets fan, but their total lack of offense and seemig lack of organizational direction has me in a "wait 'til next year" frame of mind as we enter September.

I'm not even feeling "wait til next year". Its more like wait til next owner.Yesterday, when Jeff Wilpon was asked if he would trade David Wright and break up the teams core he replied: "Is he part of the core?"What a stupid response. So yea, okay, Jeff Wilpon is now officially a fuckin idiot.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Should anybody be asking Jeff Wilpon about trades?

Whether Omar will be involved I don't know, but I think the Mets would be better off with a better GM.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 Minaya has some positives to hang his hat on this year, I'm thinking about the young ones that have come through. Weather they outweigh the negative is Jeff's call.
