I don't believe it's the bullpen but Jery's belief that he can dub a guy a horse and he'll magically develop the ability to bounce back and pitch in hot spots night after night, no matter if he's been starter up until this year or even up until weeks ago, and no matter that this plan has now failed about 10 times in a row.

Unlikely.
Castillo actually had a couple of decent snags tonight that, if Tejada had made them, fans, media, etc., would shirley have pronounced hits if Castillo were out there.


Besides, we can spin this loss anyway we want: bad pen, bad Jerry, bad Castillo. But if you go 1 for 28 following Pagan's blast in the first and get 7 hits over two games you're lucky to win once and certainly shouldn't expect to win twice.
