Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Bay sucks, have you noticed?
batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Plenty of time to bemon the fukups afterward. Right now we need Jason Bay to do something very positive.[/quote:10ko44dh]Next inning it'll be the ass bottom of the order against Wagner. I guess that's when Manuel decides to ditch the sac bunt.

Guest Kong76 Guests Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Oh, and I forgot to say before ... funk Melky!

Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Don't get the pic, Edge ... and I'm in no hurry for Beltran.[/quote:2ed3xliw]Under pressure, I'm completing the "Let's Go, Mets" montage.

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 All right, no whining for the next half-inning while we all concentrate on humiliating Billy Wagner.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 All right, no whining for the next half-inning while we all concentrate on humiliating Billy Wagner.I can do this. My poem sucked anyhow.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 It really did. It was Wagneresque.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Cora? REALLY?[/quote:15e752ie]He was already in the game after they PH'd for Tejada
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 That's 7 losses out of 11. Right now, too many holes in the lineup.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 When your early O mindset is so wishy-washyYour endgame sucks wiener like a drunk Kobayashi
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 When Reyes is buntingNo out, two on baseGet set for job huntingGet set for fourth place

batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Leiter's poems come with pictures.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 When you pinch hit unwisely and bunt all you want-eeYou leave yourself prone to get fucked by Infante
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 The bunt I didn't like was the Thole one - although both Keith & Ronnie were OK with it.Bunting a compromised Reyes to set up Wright & Davis makes more sense than bunting into Francoeur & Tejada. And in case no one has noticed, Tejada is like 1 for his last 20-something, is striking out in about 1/3 of his ABs, and is barely getting the ball out of the infield when he does make contact.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Cox is retiring, and Wagner, and LarryThey're retiring our hitters so eas'ly, it's scaryWhy are folks so convinced Reyes couldn't hit? He doubled his next time up.
batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Jerry Manuel was content with one score,Never imaginin' the Braves would score four.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Did Reyes' nagging injury induce his 1st inning error?[/quote:371ul4wd]I really don't think so.I hope not.It was an easy ground ball that did not take too much effort to handle. He took his eye off it.It was crucial too, cuz that would have ended the 1st at 0-0.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 I did not like how Jose looked at second base after the double. If this is a nagging injury, I really hope we don't regret him playing these games and the AS game.Thing is, now we really gotta win 2 b4 the break, and we need him for that too.I'm in a quandary.Sure glad I'm not callin' these shots.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2010 Author Posted July 9, 2010 Jason Bay sucks balls, and yes I'm piling on.
