Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 - Phils lost 2nd straight to Pittsburgh. Scored 2 on Thursday night and got shutout 2-0 on 5 hits by Ross Ohlendorf & O. Dotel on Friday.- Braves took a late 2-1 lead vs Florida but Wagner served up a leadoff 9th inning HR to Gaby Sanchez. Now in the 11th, Marlins got 2 on and tried a suicide squeeze. Batter missed the bunt but the Braves dropped a rundown throw so he scored anyway.Fish now have to hold in the bottom up 3-2- And just for good measure, Yanx gave up 5 in the 11th to lose a Friday afternoon game (what's up with that?) against TorontoReal culprit was Joba who blew a lead in the 8th even after getting bailed out by his fielders twice.
