I'm going to take the advice of my giant foam novelty finger and vote for David Wright to start the All-Star Game.

I'll do that without the novelty of giving myself....the....finger?

I thought I had a great joke but then ^that happened.

Seriously, a month and a half ago I would have only voted for Barajas.

Now I have a bunch a Mets I'll vote for.

If Ike plants another before I get my lazy ass to the site and vote, he will get my vote too.
I have faith that he will figure out the curve ball and I'll just project what I think he would be doing if there was no such thing as a curve ball.

That's great. I'm just glad he's not leading the league in Ks anymore. (Thanks, Mark!)

Quick 25 on the LWBetterHalfer's private addy. That's 100 our family has kicked in.

Reyes got a vote, too-- I expect his numbers to be world-beating within two weeks. As did write-in Anhell.

I've voted over 100 times. easy enough tocreate new gmail accounts.

I'm officially Daniel Murphys campaign manager too. (figured Pujols didn't need any more votes)

Reyes, Wright, and wrote in Pagan. Then voted for all the AL players in position to keep any Yankees out.

Home field advantage in the World Series may prove to be relevant to the Mets this year. So the best strategy is to vote for AL players who are having mediocre seasons, but still have a shot at winning the vote because of name recognition and media coverage.

Derek Jeter, looking forward to seeing you in Anaheim. And Mark Teixiera and his 105 OPS+ trail the deserving Justin Morneau by only about 250,000 votes. TEX NEEDS YOUR VOTE!
