Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 Nice effort from Francoeur getting to second on the double. Not so nice read on the Tejada liner to right. He deserves the assist on the DP as much as the right fielder Repko.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 With just an Orlando Hudson seeing-eye job given up, Niese is making the Morneau-and-Kubel-free Twinkies look like a bunch of Ding-Dongs through three.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 OUI OUI![/bigpurple]Baker Frenched and toasted. 2-0, Goods.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 Niese pitching with a lead. Very nice.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 HayZoos continues to hit like he's being paid specifically to illustrate how useless GMJ was in Metly colors. One out double to go with two singles gives him a 3-3 day thus far.

Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 Just a wee little Frenching that time. But still... now he's Just a Triple Away From the CycleTM. Four runs in, one pitcher chased, and our heroes continue to threaten.

Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 Two on, no out?On Thanagar, the word for "no-out crisis" is the same word for "opportunity to turn one smooth DP."
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 I swear, I never in my life imagined that Brad Benson was this big an asshole.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 Ouch. Knuckle-ball to Thome. (Adding correctly-called insult to injury, it's a strike.)

Magic 100-pitch threshhold?[/quote:1haha006]100 pitches in near 100 degrees combined to make that decision I think. No problem here using Pedro. LHBs were coming up and he made quick work of them with no one even getting the ball out of the infield. Good way to keep Morneau on the bench too.

Save the guy for Puerto Rico.[/quote:fv1mmu4l]Forty-third appearance in 75 Mets games... to lead MLB in appearances. And without doing any research I suspect he had more appearances this year that were full innings than in years past, when he would get less leeway against righties.
