David has an excellent chance to overtake him between now and October 3, if Rod Barajas (5) doesn't do it first.Other NY ballpark HR leaders:Shea Stadium: Darryl Strawberry -- 127 (123 as a Met, 3 as an LA Dodger, 1 as an MFY)Polo Grounds: Mel Ott -- 323Ebbets Field: Duke Snider -- 175Washington Park: Tim Jordan & Jimmy Sheckard -- 17 (some of Shackard's were pre-1900 and some not as a Superba/Dodger)MFYS I: Mickey Mantle -- 266MFYS II: Bernie Williams -- 143MFYS III: Mark Teixeira -- 27
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 That was great - Cantu kept waiting for Francoeur's ball to roll foul, and it stayed straight up until the moment that it tapped against third base

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 Just what I needed today.A little excitement followed by basic boredom.I love that kinda game, as long as we win it.

Utley has one more than Beltran, one fewer than Sheffield and Barajas.
