Takahashi's bat will make a difference today.

Castillo is out with "pain in his left foot," before anyone freaks out about how often Jerry has him sitting in favor of Cora.

Dan Wharton didn't like the way Louie walked past the bullpen earlier today and after last night the Mets are taking no chances.

Warthen said Luis habitually lies about wearing his orthotics.

Blame it on Jerry.[/quote:2vno3pl4]

I tried, but Ceetar sued me for a copyright violation.

He's in the past sat him and always claimed it was because he wanted to get Cora in there, which was probably a lie at least since the bone bruise incident.

Hopefully it heals. Cora (or probably even Tejada) for a long stretch would not be good. Castillo hasn't been that great this year, but he's striking out as seldom as Wright is often and the way some of these teams play defense, he could end up reaching on an error more often this year than GMJ reaches on a hit.

"sources" tell me that Jerry has been slipping nails into Castillo's cleats and that's what caused the bruise.

Put your tinfoil hat back on and the "sources" will quiet down.

Jerry doesn't want the opponent to know that Castillo's health is compromised. So let's keep this on the hush hush just between you and me and the other 20 or 30 of us here. You wouldn't wanna undermine Jerry by tipping the MFY's off, would you?

Ooops. You're right. I'm sure Girardi is already panicky about what to do if Castillo's available to pinch hit against Rivera tonight. He might be wishing they could push back the walls of Citi Field.

For those of you scanning for the crowd for some internet guy you've never met and don't know what he looks like, I'll be in the front couple of rows of section 508.

That's not you in your avatar, is it? I thought you looked familiar.

Me, I'll be in Garden City seeing Buskin and Batteau (yes, they're still alive). Better for the heartburn.

Fatesca in a interview with Keith Hernandez today on WFAN said,
the Yankees are banged-up,

"they're not the REAL Yankees"

I'm not advocating violence on a internet discussion board, but he makes me want to.

Sometimes I think Francessa (not that I listen all that much but read
a lot of banter about him) doesn't even believe what he paints. I think
he says shit like that on purpose to rattle one side and coddle the other.

Bunting? In the first inning? With your number two hitter? Against a guy making his first start in the Major Leagues? How Manuelistic.
