Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 Bad omen that our offense ain't getting any better..
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 Try to say that Goober's name without also thinking "Dingleberry." Can't do it, can you. Yeah, I got your oversize check, right here.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 The best part is that "Wade McGillberry" sounds like the name of someone who might have been in the Mets lineup for Bunning's perfecto.
soupcan Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 McDingleberry and his wife were on Howard Stern this morning.-He and his wife were both virgins when they met and did not have sex until they were married.-They are God-fearing folk and 10% of that million (before taxes) will be donated to the church. Howard tried hard to talk them out of that.-Yes, they have both sinned in their lives. She by lying after she fell off a couch she wasn't supposed tio be sitting on, he, by skipping class when he was in college. YAWN...

He has to be the the go-to guy for older neighbors who need help with a tough pickle jar or ketchup bottle, right?
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 She sat on a forbidden couch???? And ADMITTED IT ON THE RADIO????Some people have no shame!
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 This is the TV ad featuring Longoria?I'm sure they thought no one would ever pitch a perfect game.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 I just sinned by coveting that guy's big check and his dumb wife.
soupcan Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 From HowardStern.com:Howard welcomed Wade McGilberry and his wife, Katy, to the studio and reported that Wade had recently won a million dollars in the MLB 2K10 Perfect Game Competition. Katy said Wade wasn't much of a videogamer before he'd heard of the contest, but had nailed the prize on the first day of competition: "I wouldn't say he's a very strong videogamer...but when he does play, he figures things out very quickly." Wade told Howard he knew he had a chance at the prize when he'd successfully pitched 7 perfect innings: "I was sweatin big time...I just gave a big 'woo' at the end and that was it." Wade told the crew he and Katy planned to tithe 10% of his winnings to their church--an idea Howard thought was almost as crazy as their relatively chaste courtship. On their way out, Katy marveled at her husband's feat: "They said they didn't know that it could be done."
