Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Look, Grimm's so drunk right now that he's stuttering.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 It's been almost 30 years and I still haven't quite recovered!
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2010 Author Posted February 25, 2010 Ask him if he knows how many fans can't participate because of the stupid Dolan roadblock thing[/quote:lnvxueu8]I wanted to comment on this, trust Dolan to fuck up a good thing. It seemed like there were very few participants in the chat, whereas before you would have to get there early to get your questions in that was not the case yesterday. There was me in the guise of Hilary Duffy Dyer and Mike Cumrie, there was a Cleon and Bill metsiac and three or four other usernames showing up.Twice I submitted questions that were answered right away, so that leads me to conclude that Lennon was sitting waiting for them.Like I said trust Dolan to ruin a good thing.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Don't you people realize that Dolan's empire is so huge that he has no use for you non-Cablevision watching / non-Optimum on-line surfing / non Optimum-voice phone using / non Newsday subscribing types? And you want him to cater to you? ... Hah!, I bet he doesn't realize you exist!Imagine if he had bought the Mets (as some were begging him to do) a bunch of years back?Hell, he probably would have worked out some system where only subscribers to some or all of the above got first crack at the top tickets.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 I just caught the "Mike Cumrie" thing. Ha.
duan Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 knightreader: ] in today's paper jason bay says that he was on his high school curling team just to get some exercise and drink beer after practice. i know he is from canada, but what is the legal drinking age up there? perhaps it's as low as 18 years old, but not all seniors are 18 in high school. was he misquoted, is he promoting underage drinking after practices or do i not understand what is going on here...Hey Knightreader - I don't think he was promoting underage drinking. He was recalling a story from his high school days and I guess it involved curling and beer. I'm not sure what the drinking age is/was during his high school days in British Columbia or what year he was in, but Bay does not strike me as the big party type. Maybe he was 18 and maybe it was perfectly legal. Or maybe there was no drinking age. I can't answer that question.Lennon is slower than Traschel[/quote:1umj454i]holy fuck though, could you imagine if knightreader learnt about the average Irish school soccer/gaa/rugby team. The JCT team i was part of (under 15s) used to go on the batter after every game!
