bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 I was thrilled to see Capt. Intangibles and Ryan Howard fly away. I was hoping that they would disappear into thin air but then we saw the arch as a magnet. We later saw someone that looked familiar, I think it was Jose Reyes, and he ran toward the magnet but didn't get hurt. We also saw someone that appeared to be David Wright but he actually hit the magnet and this year's David Wright would have missed it. (That was mean, sorry David.)
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 I like how guys like Ryan Theriot are running toward the giant arch. Calm down, Ryan. You're getting a three-day vacation, not a trip to St. Louis.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 The dugout chats can be so hit and miss for me, that one missed for the most part, probably too long. The bit at the end about Pujols OBP was funny though.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 Sorry, then. After watching the video and reading them reading into it the huge dis the heartland and to Cubs, I was a-grin.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 I've never seen the thinking-man's Christian Delgado persona before in these. It tickles.

(except that the Arch should have landed on Jeter like the house on the witch in the movie.)Anyway, St. Louis is a great city, and the Arch is spectacular. If you ever get the chance, check it out!
