Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 The worst part of this inning is bringing it around to the meat part of the order.

seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Come on, Frankie. Get this fucking guy.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Ugly win, but a win. Thanks, guys.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Frankie is not an assassin... he is an entertainer.I'll take it.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Tellya what: When Frankie needs to get an out he gets the out. He's performed way beyond my wildest fantasies for him this year.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 And the Jays tied up Phillie - albeit after getting only 1 run total after loading the bases in two consecutive innings.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Freakin' Rios again. Struck out looking with the bases loaded and nobody out.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Disappointing outing from Pelfrey overall.Cruised through the first 15 batters getting 14 of them out ... and then got only 2 of the next 9 hitters and his night was done.Nice job by Green settling things down after that and not making the game a 5 reliever affair.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Thr PotG voters are going with him, though.

And that's kind of represents what Pelfrey is these days: good, but consistency or sustained goodness short of real good.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 And I didn't write or imply he was bad and/or worthless. I have him in second.
