Great AB by Wright who fouled off several pitches before a clean single up the middle. First and second, no out, Church up.

Catch a hit and you're sitting on top of the world.

What Marlon Anderson would be doing is speculation either way. I'd rather not entertain it.

I knew if we fucked up enough bunts one of them was gonna work.

Hi, Jerry, the usual?

Yeah. Bunt. Straight up.

I don't like the bunt there. Plus Church doesn't drop a good one, a break that the Giants make a bad play on defense and hand the Mets the lead.

I like this Wilson kid. Can we take him home?

(And actually, NOW is the time to bunt.)

Brian Wilson. Not showing the poise.

I don't want Santos or Tatis bunting. Leave that to pitchers and guys who are unlikely to hit a ball into the gap.

But that's how I roll.

He's been run already.

Like mildew, his scent lingers.

Omir with the nice bozac fly and insurance run and now it's 8-6. Frankie throwing in the pen and I've got a warm feeling in my loins.

I got no problem with the idea of bunting the go-ahead run to 3rd with no out in the 9th inning.

I think he was tossed during a commercial break after Beltran whiffed vs. Affeldt.

Actually it happened during a commercial break after a 3rd out. The SNY crew mentioned it when they came back.

Is Wilson wearing a mohawk??

Posted

I think he's been thrown out more than Willie ever was with less than a year on the job, not even the time he got thrown out as the bench coach. The FAN callers will like that.

Wilson and his megadouchey haircut get sent to the sandbox.

At least his hair will grow back. Less he can do about them handsome wrist-tats.

Scully introducing Wilson last weekend: "1 and 0, an ERA of three, six walks, 16 strikeouts heavily tattooed." Nice.

Sad douchey closer, paradoxically, equals happy creepy baby!
