Guest cooby Guests Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 We went to see Wolverine last night...I liked it quite a lot. A lot of very good imagery and special effects. Also beautiful scenery if you like forests and so forth.Stayed through the credits with the cleaning crew glaring at us to see the little snippet at the end.

nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 They killed too many characters off in X-3 to really go forward from there. I don't want to see another Wolverine-only movie. I think a great idea would be a movie based on the events of the 'Age of Apocalypse'* storyline, where they could explore that alternate universe without worrying about the events of these movies but still use all the same actors and not have to call it a reboot.*briefly for those who didnt read the comics, the storyline involved an alternative universe in which Professor X had been killed many years before, Magneto took on his mantle as founder of the X-Men
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 I'm not a stickler for strict fidelity to the original books, per se, nor a gigantic fanboy... but after they gave the friggin' Dark Phoenix Saga to Mr. Douchebag Rush Hour Hollywood Five-O'-Clock-Shadow, I'm pretty much done with the X-movies, really.
