Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Is that what the problem was? Thanks. Now I can toss all those old copies of the Daily News I've been meaning to read since 2005.

Thought you just didn't follow the on going saga of Carl Pavano's time in MFY Land.
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Right. And my post was referring to what, Pavano's inability to navigate the New York subway system?Jorge Posada just hit a disputed two-run homer for the Yankees. The umps are heading for the replay. If it stands the Yankees will go up 4-3.
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 According to Ken Singleton Jeter willed the ball off the top of the wall, three fans' hands and the rightfielder's glove, and provided his fellow true Yankee Posada with a two run homer.

Maier, they didn't catch it either) but it was over the top of the fence and the umps can't call that a "shoulda" catch for the OFer.It was also made more complicated by the fact that the new joint doesn't have the walkway in front of the front row like the old place.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 And now the Nats are blowing another one to the Fish.Gave up 1 in the 8th & 4 in the 9th (the last 3 with two outs) and are trailing 7-4
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Phillies were about to lose to the Pads again when Raul Ibanez hit a 2R walk-off in the 9th (Heath Bell had a the day off).Cards/Cubs rained out tonight to ESPN is actually forced to do baseball highlights in order to kill time. This morning on the other and I turned on SportsCenter looking for highlights as I missed much of Saturday's action and they were showing more college football spring intramural scrimmages than baseball. Aside from the Yanx pasting by Cleveland they showed almost nothing.
