As someone who has been actively disregarding Florida for two years and citing all the while a dreadful defense, let me come right out and say I fear them this season, and this game may be a nice preview, as starting lineups are in the game and gloves are off.

Of course, poor Sr. Paulino probably has no idea where he is, who he's catching, and what uniform he's wearing.

I think defense and bullpen does in Florida again this year (Hanley Ramirez and Dan Uggla -- worst DP combination in the NL?) but I could see them finishing third or maybe even second.

I don't know what the numbers are, but Hanley Ramirez looked a lot better to me last season. Mets are up 4-2 here in the seventh. Maine acqitted himself well.
