2008... a season that virtually sucked

I knew it was going to be a bad year when i couldn't draft my fantasy team. But to have the Mets ACTUALLY suck while my fantasy team virtually sucked was suckitude of too high an order to tolerate.

this was a terrible showing for me.

in my long running NL only keeper league i was chasing 1st place at the beginning of September, but faded down the stretch and ended up in 5th, only a few points behind 3rd.

in a new auction league started this year i finished 2nd in the standings, i was bouncing between 1st and 2nd for most of the month and the winner and i had already agreed to split the 1s/2nd prizes a few weeks ago with nobody near us.
