MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 The guy who pitches for the Padres.I looked him up and saw that he is from Tomball, Texas.About 10 or so years ago, I used to read an Internet site called The Tomball Chronicles ,which contained the weekly observations of a small town Texas baseball fan(don't recall his name). It contained some of the best writing about baseball, and life, that I have ever read.I just did a search for it and found nothing. Looking back, it may have been one of the first blogs, although it didn't allow reader posts.Anyone else remember reading it?Later
