The guy who pitches for the Padres.
I looked him up and saw that he is from Tomball, Texas.

About 10 or so years ago, I used to read an Internet site called The Tomball Chronicles ,which contained the weekly observations of a small town Texas baseball fan(don't recall his name). It contained some of the best writing about baseball, and life, that I have ever read.

I just did a search for it and found nothing. Looking back, it may have been one of the first blogs, although it didn't allow reader posts.
Anyone else remember reading it?
