Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2008 Posted July 5, 2008 Wrights using the wrong bats tonight.2nd broken bat. This one a weak ground out to short.GAH!!!!
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2008 Posted July 5, 2008 Heilman worked hard. He deserved a victory.
Guest Grote15 Guests Posted July 5, 2008 Posted July 5, 2008 Shea had a lousy team when it opened in 64 and has a lousy team to close it out. Some syncronicity in that.Best part is since we'll be out of it we can storm the field on the last home game have fun and take the forfeit.See ya in 09 this team is toast
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2008 Posted July 5, 2008 Jerry walks Jenkins, hitting .236, to pitch to Coste but last night he didn't walk Victorino, hitting .263, to pitch to Coste.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2008 Posted July 5, 2008 Coste almost knocks it out. Caught at the wall in left center.Whew.Balls not carrying there tonight. Good thing too.Manuel pulls Smith.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2008 Posted July 5, 2008 What's Feliciano's record to the first batter he faces?

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2008 Posted July 5, 2008 We got a break on that call on Werth at 2nd.He was safe.Would have been simpler if Aguira hit the cutoff man.Don't think we were gonna have a play at the plate there, thought it may have been close if it was perfect.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2008 Posted July 5, 2008 Easley with a one out single.Hey, we are still in this one guys.
Guest KC Guests Posted July 5, 2008 Posted July 5, 2008 Victorino has that right field gap thing down pretty tight.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2008 Posted July 5, 2008 This is really getting annoying with these two teams: we never get a clutch hit and they never fail to get a clutch hit -- that bullpen chart they threw up there a few minutes ago said it all.Somehow we beat them 4 of 6 early in the season but that was so long ago I no longer believe it actually happened. And now we have a chance to either confirm or disprove my little theory.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2008 Posted July 5, 2008 The other Manuel goes to get Romero after a Delgado single makes it 1st and 3rd.Gordon on--all these pitchers on the road to Lidge are reachable.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2008 Posted July 5, 2008 there's beer for you Marlon if you can do your job here.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2008 Posted July 5, 2008 PH-ing here for Castro makes more sense than last night as it lessens the GiDP chance. Gotta PH for Aguila too.Time for Marlon to earn his keep here.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2008 Posted July 5, 2008 We now have scored 6 runs in the last two nights:- on a groundout (when Reyes beat out a GiDP)- on a bases-loaded walk- on a GiDP- on an error- on a hit (Easley's single)- and now on a WPThat's some offense!!!!
