It says, "sources tell him" and, "this cannot be confirmed" ... not exactly
cutting edge news.

This whole sources thing the last couple of weeks is tiring. I hope a couple of
people come out in the end and make the Mets brass look like ass-wipes even
more than they're coming across.

Exactly, and that makes others feel that the reality of the situation is that the manager and coaches really are being treated on a day-to-day, minute-to-minute basis and they don't know when the axe is going to fall. That may be true, but then again, it might still not be true.

But with all these rumors and rumblings going around, hardly ANY of it coming from official sources, it makes anti-Met people like Michael Kay (granted he is more pro-Willie than anti-Met) think that the Met organization are a bunch of scumbags for this.
