Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 Great song. We win tonight...guaranteed.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 5-1 Mets in the 2nd inning, Alou is back and has already driven in two. The Mets are battering Valadius' favorite pitcher.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 I always get the feeling that the booth guys are intimidated by Seaver and in awe of him.Tom looks great.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2008 Author Posted June 10, 2008 Alou is amazing. He hasn't played for 2 weeks, didn't have a rehab game, and he swings at the first pitch to drive in 2.

Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 Is that Moises Alou? Is he on this team?
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 Schneid makes a big 2nd out here in the 5th.Tonight's game reminded me I traded Maine and Anderson Hernandez for Orlando Hudson, Miguel Montero and minor league lefty Craig Pfautz this offseason.http://cranepoolforum.qwknetllc.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=7789&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 Can we sub out Jim Joyce , he's loud sriiiiiiiiiiike is starting to wear on me.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 I like it but I have zeroed in on it form the first inning of the game , it's all I hear now.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 Augie Ojeda dicks us up the ass again.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 Grumble Castillo.......I got a bad feeling about this. I'd say the pen needs to come through to prove redemption, but the bats are equally needy.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 Eh, Castillo is having a fine game. You want him to hit it hard on the ground, that'll happen. I mean, it happens too oftren, but it happens.I am certain the Mets are afraid it would be an affront to Reyes to bat Castillo first but it would be a good move I think.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 I'm assuming this is a rain delay?Hmmmm. Tie game. If this doesn't resume tonight, do they restart the game from this point on?

Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 Damn this IGT started out really well with the Mets jumping out to a quick 5-1 lead, but it was all down hill from there. It's tied at 5 and the Mets have had only one weak hit since the second inning.
Guest AG/DC Guests Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 Beltan's liners sure know how to find gloves.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 Joe Smith gives up the dinger to some Arizona **** in their stupid bush league uniforms.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 It's September all over again. This is the first time I've said that this year.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 John Cougar Lunchbucket wrote:It's September all over again.Nah. It's nowhere near that dramatic. It's just another Mets summer, like those summers of yore. Easley on with a single. A rally here would be good.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 Chalk up another 0 for 2 (Chavez, Marlon) with RISP. Mongo sad.
