Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 Jeter clearly made an error. Ugh.Wahoos go up 1-0!
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 Wonder if General George will announce it tonight (Torre done) right after the game if the Yanks lose. It would steal some thunder.Oooo, there's one nail in his coffin.Tribe up 1-0.
Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 Tony Gwynn has an Urkel-like quality to his voice. Never made the connection before.
Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 HA! Jeter lines into a double play.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2007 Author Posted October 7, 2007 I would so dearly love for Clemens to get his fat ass kicked tonight. Not only for all the obvious and long-standing reasons but also for the ultimate failure it would represent of the desperation move that hauled his butt up here. He had 99 IPs during the season and, while it probably could be argued that they may not have sewn up the WC without him, the thought of ~$18mil for less than 100 innings plus a 1st-round exit on his watch would be quite delicious.
Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 Tony Gwynn looks like a freaking blueberry.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 Oh my gaw, goodness, gracious.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 The way Carey was talking you'd think Clemens pitched a gem.
metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 y'know... arod now has a higher batting average, slg, and obp in the ALDS this year than derek jeter. and just as many strikeouts.that bum!
metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 jeezus... could mr. announcer guy be any more excited that the yankees scored?i'm waiting for him to describe the yankees as "we"
Guest Kid Carsey Guests Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 Awful lot of in your face, outside of the dugout, butt slapping going on as Damon approaches his dugout. I won't bore ya'll with it, I'm sure itwill be pointed out as Bush league and unprofessional in tomorrows news.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 That was a rather big homer by Johnny boy.How come he plays left like a senile old man who could use a walker?
Guest Kid Carsey Guests Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 Lazy question, who is this dick in the booth with Tony?
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 The play-by-play guy is Chip Carey who is horrendous. Former Braves announcer, son of moron Skip Carey. Chip knows little about the game, spews cliches and thinks that he's so clever.

He's VERY slow in getting to balls and again in getting rid of them. Cost his pitcher at least 2 or 3 outs just in this series.Needless to say, he isn't a very good speller either.
Guest Kid Carsey Guests Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 Thanks guys, I realized it was Chipster shortly after asking that he is theguy giving me an ear ache.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 The ball gets by Nixon! And he has to trot after it!Joe may live to see another day.....stay tuned.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 This game sucks, that Shelly Duncan looks and acts like a simpleton.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 Indians are tomato cans. The entire American League has been a tomato can since 1921. They are all useless.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 ="Kid Carsey"]Send in the bugs!!!
Guest Kid Carsey Guests Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 Not to be an assclown, but why do they only show GBA from Yankee Stadium and all the other games I've watched in the playoffs they showed commercials during the 7th inning stretch?
