Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Yancey is away on a prolonged family vacation and won't be back until after Labr Day. He said he would pay no attention to baseball scores or standings during his absence. Unless the Mets turn it around in Atlanta this weeknd and kick the Braves collective asses, I don't think he'll be too happy with what has transpired while he was away.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 yancy also stated that he'd be not one bit surprised to come back and find the Mets out of first.....he'd be pissed but not surprised.

I've been paying attention. I've even been logging in here once in a while to Schaefer vote. I said I won't be doing any tallying of votes until I return, which will be late on Monday. (I'm typing this from San Francisco. My family is still asleep so I'm using the Internet kiosk in the hotel lobby.)All games against Pittsburgh, Washington, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Philadelphia will be closing shortly after Labor Day. So if you haven't voted yet, catch up! 'Nuff said!

I didn't mean to put words in your mouth. Poor reading comprehension and bad memory are going to do me in.I think I had best just get caught up on my voting while I have some time.
