I can deal with your inability to beat the Phillies. So what. You're still in first place with 30 games left. Chances are you're going to take the division, or at least the wild card, and both you and the Phillies are probably going to the postseason. I'll take our chances in a NLCS matchup. Win or lose, we know it will be exciting

But here's what I want you to do for me. Beat the living snot out of the Braves this weekend. Clobber the Atlantans with an offensive barrage not seen since D-Day. And when they come to bat I want to see major whiffage, or a least weak grounders and pop-ups. Eliminate their hopes and dreams and chances of staying in this race. Two's company in a pennant race, three's a crowd. Get rid of the ugly little sister tagging along to the dance.

Can you do that for me?
