Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 Last night was great baseball, but, ultimately, last night sucked. Did you work it out in healthy ways?I'm a cranky puss. Walked the poor dog at 2AM. It almost wasn't a walk so much as a drag. The pretty girl watering her garden was going to call animal control on me. She's lucky if I'm the worst thing she sees at that hour.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 I went to bed around 11. That was probably the healthiest choice.I rarely see 2 a.m. anymore. I rarely see 12 a.m. anymore.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 Well, the game supposedly started at 8:05 and went 4:20. It was probably more like 1:15 when I walked the beast.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 Last night was about as unenjoyable as a close game can be. It seemed like the Brewers started every inning from the 8th on by having the first two reach. And something about the Mets offense gave you the feeling that unless it went 17, they weren't going to score again.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 Brews were hitting it hard and the Mets weren't. That's all there was to it.Prince's 950 feet worth of foul balls was ominous.
Guest attgig Guests Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 i cooked up some ramen after the game was done. angry eating. not healthy. but at least i didn't beat anyone.
