Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 I hope that night off got Valentin's game legs --- such as they are --- back under him. He's scaring me. He got all of a pitch two days ago and it died at the warning track. Here in the Juice Box.

Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 Ugliness. 1st and 3rd, no outs and we can't get a single run home.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 As per Howie and Tom on the WFAN broadcast, El Duque wasn't available for the game last night. Would've been Castro pitching if they ran out of pitchers.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 They also mention that Feliciano has left town early for a family-related thingy.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 Would Humber have been a worse choice?

bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 Geez. Don't the Mets have anybody in the minors that can come up and not suck?
Guest Kid Carsey Guests Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 7-sniffle with no outs in the 4th, not the way you want to go into the break.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 Damnit, get Williams the hell out of there.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 i'd throw Pelfrey in there right now.
Guest Kid Carsey Guests Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 I think Williams is gonna sac-lamb one for the team.
Guest Kid Carsey Guests Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 I'm sorry, but watching Newhan run around out there in left is making melaugh out loud.

Guest Kid Carsey Guests Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 Yeah, you're right.Newhan showing off the gun.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 The Mets deserve this for letting a huge opportunity go by in the first. They know this; everyone knows this.

He's 25 now and didn't get much PT on Freakin Kansas City.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 Getting in a hole with a fill-in pitcher against Oswalt, that's one thing. But show some heart and fight back a bit.
