bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 I'm watching on ESPN instead of EI because of the EI. Right away: the last out of last season; idiot Rick Sutcliffe brings up Molina's homer; and then, a bright light: Erin Andrews--but too much of a close up. We could only see the face. Go wide, ESPN!
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 OK, server speed is back up. Let's get this shit goin'. One-one in the sixth.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 Feliciano comes in bases loaded, 2 out, gets 'im out.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 Mets picked off twice tonight. WTF
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 Not that Wright wasn't dumb (Darling saw that coming), but I thought the replay shows the pitcher was coming to the plate.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 What we need here is another Green-Maroth mismatch. Guh.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 Hats off to Maroth, who has to have a big middle finger pointed to Motown tonight.
Guest Spacemans Bong Guests Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 Is it me or have the Mets been wearing the classic unis more often lately?
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 Transmonk is keeping score at home I believe. Tonight's get-up is not classic (whites not pinstripes) but the all-blue caps really make the look. The blue-black caps are just awful. So Taguchi can't HR off a blue-capped Wagner. It just can't be done.

Wagner shows Taguchi who is boss with a nasty slider in the dirt for strike three. Reyes walk off here?
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 Let's not waste a nice night of pitching and/or Wright-Delgado-LoDuca this time. End. It. NOW!!!!!
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 Two perfect from Wagner is good noos.Crazy thought I can't shake loose is that I'd bet Transmonk's book would show the Mets record as being far superior with Hernandez in the booth than without him.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 Do you think Aaron Heilman really likes the Clash?
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 Let's kick this Springer guy's ass
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 Cool, while he waits for Kevin Burkhardt or whoever to get his mic, he tosses his gloves and sweatbands to the fanzies.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 You know it's a nice shot when Jose's shirt is untucked before the ball even lands.* Am I really Roger McDowell or is this some kind of practical joke?

He talked about it last year I think.Green = always throws the batting gloves into the stand after a homer. Glad to see that a walk-off is no difference.Mets are BACK.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 Didnt know this was on ESPN til the last minute.Still stayed away cuz I was starting to think I was a jinx on the team.Ill have to actually check my record this season, but I dont remember any wins while sharing views here during a game. *sob*.And that last stretch--ugh. Lets hope this June swoon went bang zoom to the moon.(i dont know what that means but i typed it anyway ^)
