Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 It's about time Delgado was dropped in the lineup.I think he should stay in the 6th position until he proves he should return to cleanup.
Guest Kid Carsey Guests Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 I don't recall this version of the lineup being part of the ST plan.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 I like it! Willie's degree should be "Doctor of SCIENCE in CHEMSTRY!!!!11" Hoorah!(insert smilies)
Guest Kid Carsey Guests Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 Hey! Jose! Let's look like ya wanna get on base instead of joggin' aroundthem admiring a dinger to start off the game.Green getting walked on four pitches next AB only cements the point.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 Green has pine tar way up high on his bat.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 Salty can throw.Looks like he crossed Prado up.

Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 Great catch by Green. In a later inning, one might have advised him to drop that. But even then, I'm not that one.
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 Shit! Ollie's melting down and Chipper is coming to the plate.
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 By the grace of God, Chipper is out on a line drive, but now the bases are loaded for Die-ass.Willie out to the mound to say something false and clueless.
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 This LoDuca fella can hit. How come nobody's thought to put him in the 2-hole?
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 Bases loaded, 0 outs. Big AB for Carlos III, with the pitcher on deck.(Though that pitcher's been hitting).
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 Go-go cha-chases.But we score on an SF anyhow.
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 Perez could make pouring bran flakes into a melodrama.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 Shawn Green, this is the day you become a man.
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 I remember when Wright first came up and started mashing the Braves. I thought, "Here's out Anti-Chipper."Livin' the dream.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 I'm just glad that Wright is back on track. Now if only the Mets could get Delgado untracked.
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 Patience, my friend. Delgado will return. Actually, he's not having a bad night.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 Damn, close bang -bang play at first on a slow bouncer to Wright last inning, but his throw just nipped Renteria at first (I think).I've been pretty surprised by the Braves announcers handling of close calls the past two nights. On the (above) play at first, the announcer (Skip Carey I believe) didn't hesitate to say that it was a close play, but it appeared that the throw nipped Renteria at first. When they showed it in slow motion, he started the umpire got it right. Last night on a ground ball that Renteria threw to the secondbaseman who appeared to simply drop the ball in his rush to turn the doubleplay the same announcer stated it looked as if the Braves had gotten a break. He said that the Braves second baseman simply dropped the ball on the catch, rather than on the transfer to throw (which was the determination on the field). The TBS announcers aren't generally that unbiased. Though they aren't as bad a "homers" as some crews I have heard.
