Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2007 Posted May 12, 2007 The argument FOR bunting w/Sosa there is that it avoids the GiDP and (pretty much) assures that you'll save Reyes a shot - and have it come with 2 in scoring position.That said, I don't like it either, especially after 2-0 and esp since Sosa's rep is as somewhat of a hitter (at least occasional pop). Let 'im take a hack there and maybe you'll score a run by accident before Reyes even gets to the plate.
