He is indeed parked in St. Lucie until he's needed for his first start in the bigs this year.

Two first basemen is never a problem in the minors, as one will be a DH. What is interesting is that the New Orleans roster shown is something more than speculative, since it includes Ricky Ledee, resigned on March 31st after Oakland released him five days earlier, but it also includes Blake McGinley who had been reported released before Ledee was re-signed.

Is McGinley back in the picture or wot?
