Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 Crap - 6-6. Green just missed catching it, but his glove brought it back into the park at least.

Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 He almost knocked it out with his face.Funny that the manager went out to coach the pitcher, he throws the wrong pitch, and then the coach goes out to yank him.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 We can still win this game.....
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 If Green makes that catch........another Met postgame play for the ages.Damn--I wanted him to make that grab. But I[u:b7f0b535ba] will [/u:b7f0b535ba]settle for him keeping it in the park.Heilman on, and hopefully shuts em down til the 9th.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 I may be misreading this, but Pedro seemed to be questioning Mota's pitch selection. I am also, and so is Tim McCarver, but Pedro seems to be doing it to Mota's face, as he's pointing at his head (think, Guillermo) while talking to him, and Mota is looking back at him like he wants to put Pedro's other arm in a cast.
Guest Hillbilly Guests Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 Give Pedro a raise, now!! He should be pointing at his head and his ass!
Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 Let's get back to work, Metsies!

Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 That's what 'Tin needed. A chance to bat rightie.
Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 Mets have three pitchers left in their pen: Hernandez, Oliver, and Wagner.
Guest Hillbilly Guests Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 Heilman will keep us in there? Do you hit for him with it tied in the bottom of the frame? I wonder how Cliff feels tonight?

Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 1 out. Preston Wilson on deck now.
Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 Molina has earned the title of "Shitface" from me now.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 UGH--Molina.This is what makes baseball the greatest game. Some no bat catcher suddenly hits like Ted Freakin Williams.Held the loser to a single HA! good.
Guest Hillbilly Guests Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 JD already coined 'fatassed catcher', and I'm glad he did, otherwise he'd be on 2nd base with that hit down the line.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 Heilman got Wilson GOOD!STRIKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE3Nice movement on that change!
Guest Hillbilly Guests Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 Don't do a Mota and go bacK in there!!!!
Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 Wait... did Mookie marry his brother's wife? I thought Preston was his nephew.
