stevejrogers Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 My Dad got back from the game with the program, and flipping through I saw a nice article/interview profile with Wright and Reyes!I'll see if I can scan the pics over the weekend, looks like its on their lighter, fun loving side. There is a nice sequence of the two in the field seats with some concessions aside from the usual posed and action shotsCan't wait for Game 2.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 It's $10 but I think it's worth it as a souvenier.Didn't read the Reyes/Wright article yet but it was written by Alan Schwartz (ESPN, NY Times, Mets fan) so I'm sure it'll be quality stuff.Interesting that they clearly designed the cover ahead of time -- pics of the Mets, DBacks, Phillies, Cards, Marlins, Astros, Pads, Dodgers, each with a pic of their last NL Championship (except the Phillies one is strangely from 1980).Coupla articles about the '86 LCSes too.
Guest 86-Dreamer Guests Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 the scorecards in the NLCS program are tiny - both teams on one page, surrounded by a blue border so you can't make notes in the margins. I hate that!
