Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Whew - 3 run lead with 3 outs to go.
Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Heilman gets Kent and Drew to end the inning.Three outs to go, and we're past the best part of the Dodger lineup.
Guest Hillbilly Guests Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 I'm not worried, but I'd like to see a few more on the board for the Mets
Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Saito in to pitch for LA.Cliff leads off for the Mets in the 8th
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Here's Mr. Saito. Where's Mr. Fuji?
Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Wagner getting ready in the pen.
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Sweet Caroline is wave-inducing bullshit! Leave other teams' songs to them. Why the hell aren't they playing The Curly Shuffle?
dinosaur jesus Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 "What a year this kid had." Saito is 36 years old. He did have a great year, though.
Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Is Steve Lyons a Dodgers broadcaster?
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 My HD is screwed up a little too.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Tom can talk about how his champagne parties aren't as exciting since he's been to the postseason so much....but he's only got one World Series win. I wonder how he feels about another opportunity at the WS. He knows better than anyone that consistently making the playoffs isn't enough to get you a bunch of WS rings.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 ]Is Steve Lyons a Dodgers broadcaster?I believe he is.

Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 You know, I have no opinion on the quality of these broadcasters. I'm hearing them, but I'm not really listening to them.
Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Endy makes the third out.Fasten your seatbelts, we're going into the ninth!
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 They're strange. They miss cues. The director and cameramen get an interesting shot of a guy on the bench and they stay quiet and don't even mention the subject's name. And I wonder if they know.Close. door.

Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Yeah, the yips in his release are a concern such that I think Sandy Alomar should keep him late tonight.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Reyes trying to get our 1st baseman injured over there.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Remarkably un-dynamic game for a Met October. But all's well that ends well.EDC got it right. A lousy broadcast.
