Padres. I have a little Cardinal fatigue, and I'd like to see Piazza and Cameron advance to the next round. (And beyond in the horrific event that they end up facing the Dodgers.)

I remember hearing somewhere that it was impossible for a team with Piazza as its catcher to reach the postseason. I think MLB needs to audit the standings or something.

In deference to my 13-year-old, who has rooted for the Cards since he was 5, I have to root for St. Louis.

Family in San Diego has kind of made the place 'soupcan west'.

I can see myself retiring there and going to many Padres games.

Hadn't really thought about a rooting interest here.
Pads I guess, more for a change of pace than anything else. Plus games w/o LaRussa might just finish in under 5 hours.

When Yadier Molina becomes a Free Agent, I want to see him in a Mets uniform...regardless of how he hits, he is in a class by himself as a catcher...

Padres all the way. Much like the Twins in the AL, the Padres are a team I have always liked and hoped to see do well. I guess I just like the underdogs.
