Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 Congratulations, and a big frosty mug of Schaefer beer, to August's player of the month: JOS REYES.This is Jos's first win of the 2006 season. He was also player of the month in July of 2005. Two-time 2006 winner Carlos Beltran was the runner up, and Carlos Delgado finished third for the month.Steve Trachsel is a first-time winner (long-time Met) of the Pitcher of the Month award. He finished a few points ahead of Orlando Hernandez, John Maine, Tom Glavine, and Aaron Heilman. Last year, the only pitchers to win the award were Pedro Martinez and Tom Glavine. This year we're seeing more diversity, with wins going to Glavine, Martinez, Soler, Maine, and Trachsel.CPF Schaefer Voting Results home page.Previous winners: April 2005: Cliff Floyd May 2005: Mike Cameron June 2005: Cliff Floyd July 2005: Jos Reyes August 2005: David Wright September 2005: Tom Glavine April 2006: Tom Glavine May 2006: Carlos Beltran June 2006: David Wright July 2006: Carlos BeltranMonth-to-date totals for August 2006Through game of August 31, 2006RankNamePoints1Jos Reyes29.932Carlos Beltran25.283Carlos Delgado23.714David Wright20.065Paul Lo Duca13.346Steve Trachsel12.087Endy Chavez11.978Orlando Hernandez10.049John Maine9.8910Tom Glavine9.5711Aaron Heilman9.5612Dave Williams8.3413Pedro Martinez8.2314Jos Valentin7.9615Billy Wagner7.3716Chad Bradford7.2717Lastings Milledge6.0718Roberto Hernandez5.1719Pedro Feliciano4.7820Darren Oliver4.2421Michael Tucker4.1922Shawn Green3.6023Chris Woodward3.4124Royce Ring1.8125Guillermo Mota1.5126Julio Franco1.2527Mike Pelfrey1.0428Brian Bannister0.8529Cliff Floyd0.1930Mike DiFelice0.1431Oliver Perez0.07
