While the remainder of his teamates couldn't solve Martinez, Piazza was busy turning back time to the delight of an admiring Shea Stadium crowd. Piazza hit a pair of solo shots off his old battery mate and drew a curtain call on the road. Both exceedingly rare feats.In the end, it was too much Pedro and too much Mets for the Piazza's "turn back the clock" performance to spoil the day for the Mets and their fans.In honor of a magical night at Shea, a cooler of Dixie Blackened Voodoo Lager awaits in the Mets loccker room. A six pack was sent to a special Padre that tried, but failed to steal the day.
