Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2006 Author Posted July 24, 2006 Keef calling Ramirez out for not running hard on Jones' double. He says it drives your teammates crazy.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2006 Author Posted July 24, 2006 The first few rows behind the plate are pretty empty.
stevejrogers Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 OE: Uh, bear with me for a moment...
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2006 Author Posted July 24, 2006 The name Maddux still instills fear in this poster.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 Good news: Trax made it thru the 1st inning.Bad news: he gave up 3 runs.

Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2006 Author Posted July 24, 2006 Not sure who Keith was talking about, I think it's Maddux, but he said if [pitcher] got pissed that players were trying to jerk home runs then he'd start breaking bats on purpose by throwing sinkers in on the hands.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2006 Author Posted July 24, 2006 Ball off the right field wall gets away from Jones, but Lo Duca was watching to see if it would be caught and was held by Acta. Probably the right call.Though he did do a triple take looking at the ball. Why don't players know how to run the bases? That's like the easiest part of the game.
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 Delgado's 2-RBI single cuts the deficit to 3-2 Cubs in the first.
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 Mr. Wright's single brings us runners on the corners.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2006 Author Posted July 24, 2006 Pierre gets to Wright's ball very nicely in left-center to hold him to a single.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2006 Author Posted July 24, 2006 Delgado's 2 run single was a looper placed nicely.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2006 Author Posted July 24, 2006 Good graphic on Maddux.ERA under 2 through his first five starts. 5.78 since.Let's not trade for him.
stevejrogers Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 Something is wrong with my darn thing here
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 ="SteveJRogers"]Taking a cue from Zvon, MET OFFENSE! UNITE AND ASSEMBLE!lol---thats kool--i like that.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2006 Author Posted July 24, 2006 Horrible turn by Perez, fell off the base as he was throwing, and [shortstop] didn't charge it in the first place. Bang-bang at first that Floyd wins. Shoulda been a DP. Maddux was coming off the mound on the hit, but after watching the play he kind of threw up his arm. Not a happy man.Of course the second through fifth hitters hit the piss out of the ball.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 Im not 100% here tonight--but I do see the Mets have tied the game already.YAY!.Who the hell voted no in the poll?lol-No brew for you!
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 I'm finding it distracting to have a poll attached to the IGT.Perez gets on base on Reyes' misplay, and moves to second on a ground out.
