Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 Damn, I suck! The stupid poll didn't take Reyes' nomination and unfortunately you can't alter a poll once it's been posted. If you wish to vote for Reyes, please post his name in bold letters.Jose Reyes 1-4, R, RBI, SBJust when it seemed the Mets couldn't play worse than they did for much of the San Diego series, they show that they can play worse. In a game in which the offense looked like the noffense of old, Tom Glavine simply looked old. While Glavine struggled through his first poor start of the season, the offense provided only 6 six hits, all singles. To further add to the offensive stagnation, the Mets did not draw a single walk in the contest. This team needs to get Floyd untracked and Beltran healthy enough to get back in the line up. In such a dreadful game, no one truly distinguished themselves with an outstanding performance worhty of a great beer. So today, the POTG shall receive a lone* tall boy can of Schlitz. http://brewdude.beers.net/B-24-SCHL2.jpg*Because no one should have to drink more than one.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 Jose ReyesI must be in a posting slump that coincides with the teams current slump. Hopefully, we will both bust out and improve our game today.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 This poll may set the record for fewest votes received so far this season. Honestly, no one deserves any beer.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 Schlitz barely qualifies as beer. At least not a good one.
Guest cooby Guests Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 Wow, that wide tab feature probably really jacked up sales, though
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 I love the whole concept of the wide tab. Coor's light had it too. It almost seems to be an implicit admission that their beer is not very good, but the handy container lends itself to being consumed very quickly.
