Hi fellow CPFers, tonight the Marlins come to Shea, although it's a very different team form the one last year, in case you didn't know the Marlins traded away just about every player with value , they did keep Dontrelle Willis and Miguel Cabrera , chances are probably high that Cabrera gets traded this season, has a shitty attitude apparently.

First year manager for the Marlins is Joe Girardi, you just know he's going to make a great manager, why?, because he comes for the MFY tradition just like Lee Mazzilli did, how did that work out....

(why do I feel the need to tweak the MFY)

The Mets are getting a new stadium, last night Jeff Wilpon was on SNY saying that they are actively shopping for naming rights but that Bill Shea would be properly honored in some way.

The Marlins of course aren't getting a new stadium which is one reason they were force to tade away players, it's a shame really because that should be a very successful franchise.

Reminds me of when Kevin Garnett went on a hilarious rant before a playoff series saying he was loading up the weapons, getting out the rocket launchers and chains and bats....and the media ripped into him for it.

WOW, I've not seen Filet Milan in over a year I would guess, as for Val I liked him too, perhaps when college gets out he'll be back.
