Guest Bret Sabermetric Guests Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 [sticks finger up nose] Nah. When I won the thing two years ago, everyone got amnesia. I think that's one of things I did to piss KC off, winning the predictions thing and acting like I expected someone to congratulate me or acknowledge it or some damned thing. This year, I'll pretend to be so dumb I don't know how to cut and paste, and see if that does anything for my popularity around these parts.[/sticks finger up nose]

Guest Bret Sabermetric Guests Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 I found it distressing, the first 20 or 25 years my optimism left me feeling disappointed. Contempt and pessimism and disdain work so much more efficiently for me.
